  • Lyrics: So early in the morning you could call it night, when me and my wife, from Idaho, came driving by a little Illinois city off I-74. Pulled over for gas and nothing more, and as my wife was in the restroom, a man came up a-crying. With his eyes on the ground and not on me, walked into the station with his eyes still astream. Bought himself a gas can. His car musta broke down. Buck-fifty for gas to get him back into town (Yeah-heh-hown). So, why'd you do it, Stuart Nelson? You want the world to feel your pain? Could they not see your insides, so maybe they'd see the flames? You know your parents loved you, but they could not carry the weight, so five years after Zeller closed, your life you chose to take. And, you burned, burned, burned as you left this world today. Yes, you burned, burned, burned. At least you left it in your own way. It's not an isolated incident. We're isolated constituents. Too busy in our houses to share our lives with those around us. With what happened next, I had to rub my eyes. Could not believe a man could be so resigned as he poured that death all over himself. He had had no car, nor no fear of hell (Yeah-heh-hell). And, as he burst into flames, he made not a peep, just crossed his arms and fell to his knees. And when the reporter asked me, "Sir, what did you see?", I said, "I saw his pain. I think that's what he was sharing. It's not an isolated incident. We're isolated constituents. Too busy in our houses to share our lives with those around us. It's not an isolated incident. We're isolated constituents. Too busy in our houses to share our lives with those around us.
