Dance Movie is an indie-pop outfit forged in the sea-salted winds of Halifax, Nova Scotia and has opened for many cool passers-through including Bahamas, Hannah Georgas, Julie Doiron, Olenka & The Autumn Lovers, Born Ruffians and Small Sins plus played the 2011 North by Northeast, Halifax Pop Explosion and In the Dead of Winter festivals. Last year DM had a song on Degrassi, which spawned a handful of weird YouTube tributes, two fantasy book trailers, and zero dollars.
