Genres:Pop Rock, Alternative Pop, Rock - Pop Rock, Rock - Indie Rock, Rock - Alternative Pop
Bio: In 2003, after writing a suitably moody and atmospheric instrumental track called ‘underspace’ for the marketing video of ‘stratsat’ satellites, Staff put together an album titled ‘Staff only’ which featured mainly looped based guitars and drums with vocals along with some experimentation with saxophone and voice transformers. In 2004, after driving around Spain writing new material, Staff produced a 4 track EP titled ‘memories fade’. The distinctive vocal caught the ear of legendary Rolling stones producer Chris Kimsey who went on to mix the album ‘moodswings’. The blend of bluesy soulful rock and earthy honest lyrics is reminiscent of an early 70‘s vibe. A few years later Staff worked on an up to date collection of originals titled ‘Sunseeker’ which features the suburban stomp of ‘Dead of night’ and ‘Shock’ along with the catchy simple guitar melodies of ‘Rumour’ & ‘Tomorrow’. He has since worked with original rock/electronic trio 'Driver'. He is currently working on more new music with a very upbeat and summery vibe which will be available to license next year 2015. Thanks for checking out the music.
