Having finished his degree in Electronics in 2002, Cameron decamped to England to study guitar at the Academy of Contemporary Music for a year where he started to make contacts in the industry. Before finishing his course he had already signed a publishing and management deal and was writing and recording with the biggest pop writers in the game; These included Wayne Hector (Westlife, JLS, Jessie J) and Steve Mac (Westlife, Jessie J). Due to his heavy workload he relocated to London where he started writing and recording with further artists on major label rosters as well as sessioning in the studio and on tour.
From here his network started building and he set up a studio so artists and writers could come direct him. This proved beneficial and his production skills started to get commissions on top of his playing and writing skills. By the end of 2007 he had had a cut on Belgiums highest selling female artist Natalia with the track "Appetite for Love". This album went double platinum and enhanced his presence in the music industry. The end of this year culminated in a number of dates opening for Take That on their comeback arena tour playing for a new artist.
The last few years have seen him record for Gary GO (Polydor), Javine (Island, Eurovision entrant), play on a number of film scores and over the last 5 years he has been regularly working with Roc Nations "Ganster Roc" artist Hugo writing and recording. At the end of 2012 he worked on the second album with Hugo in Thailand at Karma Sound Studios with Dave McCracken (Ian Brown, Oh Land) who also was on production duties for the first album. This should hopefully see a release later in the year.
With enough on his plate with this he also records his own original solo material under The Cat That Walks Alone. With national airplay already under his belt in the UK, he is about to release his 3rd single "Love Will Always Come" which is receiving very favourable reviews and also features a video directed by Phil Tetu who recently worked on the promo for the "Torn Apart" single with Rita Ora and Snoop Lion. Likened to Elliott Smith, Paul MacCartney, and the band Love, his gentle voice narrates scenes of confused lesbians, love after love, and late night tales in a way that only British writers can do.
