NYC based, Vermont bred singer/songwriter Caitlin Canty started out working on the production side of live music and singing backup for more established artists while quietly cultivating her own music. She soon swung around to the other side of the microphone and has been performing in coffeehouses, rowdy bars, theaters and festivals across the U.S ever since. Her soothing voice and soulful songs are often compared to the likes of Patty Griffin and Norah Jones. Prior to her latest album, Neon Streets (2010) produced by the string-rock band Darlingside, Caitlin independently produced several EPs and one full-length album, Green (2007), which she recorded and mixed in her home studio.
