During the apogee of the "Peace and Love" Utopia in the 60s, between San Francisco - Paris - London and Berlin, an entire generation in search of freedom and spirituality took the route to India, like Georges Harrison, the first Beatles to visit GOA (a small state in southern India) where there is still a strong « hippy » community composed of western artists and musicians who were at the origin of the psychedelic movement.
A cultural "melting pot" that Chris and Mary have been capturing for more than 5 years, achieving a sound and visual logbook illustrated by two hours of movie and by 35 original tracks composing the first volume of Arambol Experience (1 DVD and 2 CDs).
That’s the birth of the Arambol Experience concept, from the name of a small fishing village where musicians from all over the world gather for many years. In rebellion against the dictates of the industrial world, they come to GOA to enjoy and share their music in complete freedom.
For the 2nd volume "Arambol Experience" (1 DVD 1 CD) Chris and Mary wanted to experiment with their Indian friends a universe composed of electro-acoustic and rags from the Indian classical music. This new movie of Marie Börsch reflects the intellectual and musical spirit prevailing in Goa between the local and western communities. The album produced by Chris and Dume, arranged and mixed by the musician-technicians of Arambol Experience, symbolizes the merger between India and Western countries, while respecting the psychedelic frame.
