The Crossroads Band is based in the Mid-Hudson Valley, New York, USA. The band currently has two CD’s available, their newest “Heading South” and their debut release “Crossroads”. With their latest release Heading South , it has received the country music genre runner up status for Song of the Year competition with “Crazy For Loving You” and "Heartbroke and Busted", garnering the band a score of nine out of ten from the Nashville Songwriters Association.
The song “Free Man” on their first release received great reviews, moderate airplay, won first place in “The West Coast Songwriters Competition” for best blues song.
The band members are: Tony Merando, vocals and acoustic guitar, Australian/Texan Ben Ribble on electric guitar, session guitar and bass player Jeff MacAulay on bass, Claude LeHenaff on drums and Tom Ayers on keyboards ,both whose credits include three Billboard top 40 hits on Millennium/RCA with the group Franke and The Knockouts including a top #10 with the song “Sweetheart” and Claude also on Casablanca/Polygram for Crazy Joe and the Variable Speed Bands’ “Eugene” album.
