A righteous, joyful, foot-stomping jubilee, Joe and Vicki Price catapult the blues. Over their 27 years together they have opened for such notables as Buddy Guy, John Lee Hooker, Willie Dixon, Greg Brown and Iris DeMent. They are regular performers at Buddy Guy’s Legends in Chicago.
The couple’s last CD Rain or Shine won an Independent Music Award for best Blues CD 2010. The cd has received rave reviews in major publications including Vintage Guitar Magazine, DownBeat Magazine, The American Music Guide, Blues Revue and the Chicago Sun Times. The couple is endorsed by the National Reso-Phonic Guitar Company and the Air Line Guitar Company. They were featured showcase performers at The Folk Alliance Far West Music Conference in 2011. Joe was a finalist at the International Blues Championship in Memphis, a member of the Iowa Blues Hall of Fame and The Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame..
