Mezzo Mestizo is an acoustic trio from Boulder, Colorado. Their original tunes are folky and laid-back, infusing bits of pop, jazz, and Americana styles. The band has been a regular fixture at the luxurious St. Julien Hotel for several years, sharing the regular roster with some of the best bands in Colorado.
In summer 2009, Mezzo Mestizo released their first studio album, comprised of nine catchy original songs and their own rendition of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah." In early 2012, they released a new EP titled "Last Holiday," which features a string quartet on the title track.
