The Nightmare River Band is the music you would listen to at a family BBQ if you were trying to convince your grandparents to light the lawn on fire. If Toby Keith and Green Day had an Irish baby, Matt Krahula would be it. With his seemingly mutually exclusive genre of “Country Punk,” Matt and the rest of the Nightmare River Band churn out fast paced drinking songs that will have you on your feet, singing along, and texting all your friends before the end of the night.
In its first year, The Nightmare River Band has proven to be a crowd pleaser. They have completed 6 national tours, playing over 150 shows coast to coast, and selling out venues in their hometown of New York City. They are currently working with Tinderbox Music on a Nation Wide College Radio campaign. Their music has been featured in Road Trip Nation (PBS), Under the Radar Magazine (digital sampler), The Rock Lobster, The Good Show, Mambo's Webcast w/ John Rody, Crumbs Albany, The Captain's Memo's, etc...
