Noel Vinson is V.I.T.A.L. Emcee: a rapper, songwriter, artist and activist out of Long Beach, California. Born under the sign of a broken home, V.I.T.A.L. would escape into music with every opportunity afforded him. Finding solace in the likes of Prince and Michael Jackson would eventually lead him into the arena of Run DMC and LL Cool J and cement the calling for his life thereafter.
With influences ranging from Miles Davis to Pink Floyd, Judas Priest and 2Pac, V.I.T.A.L. has recently gained notoriety for his inclusion on the official 2009 and 2011 Grammy Ballots in over seven categories each, including Best New Artist and Record of the Year. A prolific lyricist with an intense cadence, V.I.T.A.L. also pulls no punches by being an openly gay man campaigning for equal rights, amongst other issues. Though his sexuality is but one aspect of the man himself, it does not define his music. He intends to remain universally accessible and consistently give his fans what they have come to expect from him: music to die for.
