Bio:
The highLows are a 3 piece sometimes 4 piece band hailing from Hobart Australia with an emphasis on writing powerful melodic and at times “anthemic” rock songs! Often described as "rambunctious" yet focused, The highLows boast an edgy, no nonsense sound which has the ability to hook the listener in very quickly. Rising out of the ashes of former Hobart band Sir Veto, The highLows band members bring together an enviable pedigree, having supported the likes of The Tea Party, Cold Chisel, Grinspoon and Silverchair, as well as being former JJJ unearthed winners. “No Space, No Time” , The highLows first album was released in late 2008 the band culling down over 70 songs to a final 14. They are now slowly but surely building a reputation as a powerful live act with the ability to deliver tight and high energy performances while never losing sight of giving the audience what they came for! This is a band that has settled into their niche with verve and you can expect to hear a lot more from them in the future…..
