Rip Rowan is a producer / engineer (Old 97's, John Lefler, Rhett Miller) based in Dallas TX. He built his first MIDI studio in 1987 and has been composing and arranging ever since. Rip started the Internet's first pro recording magazine (ProRec.com) in 1998. Rip's composition is highly divergent, covering classical, jazz, pop/rock, and electronica. His electronic jazz CDs (Rhythm/Pleasure) both charted on the Amazon Top 25 in both Jazz and Electronica.
