Since 1995 WET PAINT has been performing/recording... as the music is "real time" composition; where the listening and playing occur simultaneously, weaving the tempra, organically. Doug Elliot vocalist/hand percussionist, glues these ensembles melodically singing lines of poetry and pulsing rhythms. Core group memebers, Don Pate on bass and Daniel Carter on saxes, trumpet, flute and clarinet have created most of these offerings. The songs are created live, before an audience, as we all hold space and jump, forming the music together...
