Jinah Kim is a 22-year-old singer-songwriter from L.A. with a knack for harnessing emotion in song form. A classically trained pianist, self-taught guitarist, and compulsive writer, she started creating original music as a teen in need of a voice. She honed her writing and performance skills during her college years in Boston, playing small venues as well as several universities in the area (Harvard, Amherst, Wellesley, Tufts).
With influences ranging from Alanis Morissette to Nick Drake, Jinah channels her own style of music that is at once unique and familiar. Her raw and earnest vocals carry through on each track of her EP "Red Eye" (her first), and her poignant lyrics speak to the soul. This six-song collection paints the bittersweet trek from love to loss and back, inviting all listeners along for the ride.
