Over the past nine years, Tom and Sera have been playing music as a duo - mainly throughout the Northeast, but also in the Midwest and overseas (The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany). Their most recent performances were at De Waag, Haarlem, The Netherlands; De Rode Pimpernel, Den Bosch, The Netherlands; Theatre Tarantel, Herenthout, Belgium; Presb. Church, Koln, Germany; and De Bunker, Gemert, The Netherlands. Other venues include the Colony Cafe, Woodstock, NY; Lost Dog Cafe, Ithaca, NY; Kirkland Arts Center, Clinton NY; Soul Full Cup, Corning NY; 'Ter Voncke' in Herenthout, Belgium; McCormacks Irish Pub op de Grote Markt in Turnhout, Belgium; De Lakenhal in Herentals, Belgium; In the Woods, De Furs, Lage Vuursche, Utrecht, The Netherlands; and KHL, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. They have played at a number of other venues including: the Rockwood Music Hall in New York City; Fletcher's Gallery in Woodstock NY; the Shoreline Unitarian Universalist Society meetinghouse, Madison, CT; Dreamcoat Cafe, Stillwater MN; Ginkgo's Coffeehouse, St. Paul, MN; New Directions Cello Festival at Lawrence University in Wisconsin; Underground at Ron's, Philadelphia PA; The Roundroom, Mont Vernon NH; Fire and Water, Northampton MA; Billy Goodes, Newport RI; the Cyber Café, Binghamton NY; the Perfect Cup and the Tanglewood Nature Center, Elmira NY; and Happy Endings, Syracuse NY.
In April 2007 they completed their 4th CD, "Where the Sun Meets the Blue", which was recorded at Julie Last's studio in Bearsville NY. They returned to Julie's studio in 2009 recording new songs for a "Pre-Release" CD called Green Church to take with them to Europe. They are currently recording the remaining tracks for the full-length Green Church CD in both Woodstock and in Ithaca. Tom and Sera will tour the Midwest in May 2010 and The Netherlands and Belgium in November 2010.
