Mexico City based rock band originally formed in 2005, the band members are:
Alfonso (Lead Guitar)
The band published their “MySpace” site in the middle of 2005 they started out as an indie band aiming for underground circuits. They pretty much made a reputation for bringing out the “Brit Sound” from a Mexican band. Eduardo (the founding member), recorded alone their first single “Mag Queen” at home and sent it out to different indie based radio stations, Reactor 105 fm was the first to give them some significant airplay & support by including them in their anniversary edition CD that goes by the name of:
“¿Cuál Es Tu Rock? Mi Primera Caja De Música
The single made it to the best 105.7 songs of 2005,
awarded by people’s choice leading the band to acquire numerous adepts even without revealing themselves, due to the fact that they’ve never played live before.
A few months later Eduardo created & recorded what would be their second & most popular single “Newcomers”. The song gained enormous popularity pretty quick and in just a few weeks it demanded heavy airplay. Once again it was included in the second edition of “¿Cuál Es Tu Rock? Mi Primera Caja De Música Vol. III” and it also reached number 57 amongst the best 105.7 songs of 2006. To the present day, their site holds more than 100,000 visits and their songs are being listened & downloaded from all over the world about 200 times per day.
The band has already shared the stage with other huge artists such as Albert Hammond Jr. (The Strokes), Angels & Airwaves and well known Latin bands like Los Bunkers, La Gusana Ciega, Porter, Los Dynamite, Six million Dollar Weirdo, Bengala & Austin TV. Their first appearance at “Vive Latino 2007” (the most important music festival in Latin America) was packed by 8,000 people who rushed to the green stage to see the band performing live.
On December 1st 2007 they performed at the “Corona Music Fest” along with headliners like Iggy & The Stooges, The Futureheads, LCD Soundsystem, !!! (Chk,Chk,Chk) & The Walkmen.
The crowd is always looking forward to see them play live, cos many good reviews have been favouring their past live performances as a “Must See”.
The band just finished their first EP: “National Flavour”, recorded at Naranjada Records (an Indie Label) released march 15th 2008.
