Cruising through the ether as well as the underworld with artists like Jane Siberry and Tom Waits, singer/songwriter Danielle French is possessed of a diverse and slightly surreal talent. Danielle's third full-length independent CD Shadows features Martin Tielli (Rheostatics) and has been described as beautiful strangeness. Shadows was named among CKUA Radio's Top 100 Albums of 2007.
Danielle is an award-winning singer/songwriter who, in her 10+ years as a recording artist and performer, has worked with an impressive list of musicians- Burton Cummings, Rita McNeil, Matthew Good, as well as members Spirit of the West, and Sarah McLachlan's band have all leant their talents to Danielle's previous endeavors.
Recently, Danielle produced and directed a short film to her song Time to Kill. This film is currently receiving national airplay on the Bravo! channel and was accepted into the 2009 Sedona International Film Festival in Arizona.
