Lauded by the New York Times as one of the "unorthodox geniuses...changing the world," Paul Rebhan first gained international attention in 1994 after secretly installing one of his own paintings in New York''s Museum of Modern Art. Rebhan''s painting stayed on display for two days alongside works by other groundbreaking artists such as Picasso, Warhol and Dali.
Rebhan is a published composer, pianist, percussionist and vocalist, having played solo and group shows at legendary New York venues including CBGB, the Knitting Factory and Lincoln Center, as well as internationally.
Rebhan is also co-founder/inventor of QUIET PARTIES and the international phenomenon of "Silent Dating," where people socialize in nightclubs by writing notes instead of speaking. He is the founder of RENTAPAL.COM: an art project/public service that offers friendship by the hour, and CREATIVEBOOTCAMP.COM: a training program for achieving super-creativity. He is also a published journalist and author of BUBBLES OF PERCEPTION, a book that introduces a new way of comprehending the limits of human perception.
He has been featured in many newspaper and magazine articles, has appeared internationally on television and radio, and has even performed onstage with Eminem.
