This album presents folk music from Slavonia (Croatia).This music is accompanied on tamburica, a plucked lute of Croatia and Vojvodina, which probably derives from an Arab long-necked lute, the tanbur. The different “voices” in this music are played on various tamburicas of different sizes and tunings.
