I''''''''m writing in support of Elliott Caine, whom I have seen in various venues around town since I came to know him some eight years ago. He has also been a guest on my show, "Strictly Jazz". Elliott is a terrific trumpet player, bandleader and composer, someone whom I would call - borrowing a category frm Downbeat magazine''''''''s yearly poll - TDWR, or talent deserving of wider recognition.
