When we bid we bid for 28 sports ... IOC removed two of those sports, with them went three quarters of a million low price tickets ... It really goes without saying that no event in the world comes close to the types of challenges that there are in overlaying a ticket strategy, this is the daddy of all ticket strategies. We will have more tickets on sale in March / The work that we've done... has meant we've been able to create 800,000 more tickets...75 per cent of those tickets will go on sale to the public... / First we need affordable and accessible prices...we need to generate income...we want full venues packed to the gunnels with people that are passionate sport fans that want to be there ... the more the athlete's performance rises ... it is very important we get the right people in full stadium ... An Olympic ticket is a must-have "I was there" item ...
