Why is the file size on download smaller than the file size I selected?
All images that you purchase and download are compressed JPG files. The file size of compressed files is smaller, which allows for faster download of images. The size of the image you download will always be the compressed file size. When selecting the size of an image, make sure that the dimensions listed are appropriate for your intended use. Selecting a larger size will give you more flexibility to scale an image without losing quality.
