In 2006, the L'Occitane Foundation chose to build on its partnership with the women of Burkina Faso by focusing its activities on supporting women's entrepreneurship. Based in French southern town of Manosque, 'L'Occitane en Provence' is present in 90 countries, marketed within 2,000 shops around the world and generates more than 90 percent of its sales outside of France.
