The 45 year old artist artist-craftsman started as a decorator and costume designer for discos and today creates precious sculptures using a variety of materials. A photograph of Madonna wearing a mask jewel created by Idriss Guelai appeared in many newspapers around the world and across social networks. The singer pre-empted a fashion shoot undertaken for Harper's Bazaar and due out in November, by instagramming a photograph of herself while wearing the Idriss Guelai's jewel mask with the phrase: 'The Revolution of Love is on'.
