TO GO WITH AFP STORY BY KATARINA SUBASIC -- Verica Tomanovic holds on August 23, 2010 in Belgrade, a picture of her husband who disappeared in Kosovo in 1999, one of some 14,650 people unaccounted for after the wars in Croatia, Bosnia Hercegovina and Kosovo which tore apart the former Yugoslavia in the 1990s. A book and photo exhibition called 'Missing Lives' presents 15 stories selected among thousands and is also designed to serve as a tool to solving more cases at a faster pace. Families throughout the western Balkans still hope to find out what has happened to their missing loved ones, if only to bury and grieve for them properly.
