F366942 09: Tourists visit the Trinity Site where the first atomic bomb was tested at 5:29:45 a.m. Mountain War Time on July 16, 1945 on the White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico, April 1, 2000. A black rock monument now marks the spot where the atomic bomb was placed and tested on a 100-foot steel tower.
