Thousands of workers walk home from the central business district of Wellington as the trains stop working after a 6.5 earthquake hit central New Zealand on August 16, 2013. The powerful earthquake rattled major cities across New Zealand, terrifying residents and causing the capital Wellington to shake 'like jelly', but authorities reported no major damage. Train services were stopped in case rails had buckled in the quake, but police said they had received no reports of significant injury or damage.
