WASHINGTON, DC - DEC 07: Thomas Conlon, 88 of Cumberland, Maryland served in the Army in the Pacific theater. When President Roosevelt died in 1945, Mr. Conlon was part of a large contingent of saluting servicemen who stood trackside (in New Jersey) as the funeral train passed by. Many of the World War II veterans who came to the Pearl Harbor remembrance ceremony today were there as part of the Honor Flight program. (Photo by Michael S.
