The Movement for Oneness and Jihad in West Africa (MUJAO), one of the Islamist groups occupying northern Mali on November 22 claimed responsibility for the kidnapping of 61-year old Gilberto Rodriguez Leal, who was born in Portugal but is a French citizen, living in Le Segala quarter of Banassac.
