This photo taken on January 15, 2013 shows a cast member posing mingling with the audience during a Chinese performance of 'Cats' at the Century Theatre in Beijing. Featuring a kung-fu cat, and a set design that includes bird cages and Peking duck, the culturally adapted Mandarin version of British composer Andrew Lloyd Webber's hit musical 'Cats' is hoping to bring West End success to the far east. The show, which runs until February 3, is on the final leg of a country-wide tour after passing through Shanghai, Chonqing, and Guangzhou. Western musicals have traditionally been rare in China with 'Cats' following its compatriot spectacle 'Mamma Mia!' as the country's second localised large-scale musical theatre production.
