Anti Government Protestors Attempt To Block Advance General Election Votes

BANGKOK, THAILAND - JANUARY 26: Thai election workers load ballot boxes at a closed polling station as advanced voting for the February 2nd general elections was unable to continue due to anti-government protesters blocking the polls on January 26, 2014 in Bangkok, Thailand. One man was killed and 9 injured during election related violence today. The anti-government protesters vowed to stop all elections from taking place in the capital city. The Thai government imposed a 60-day state of emergency in Bangkok and the surrounding provinces in an attempt to cope with the on-going political turmoil but so far this decree has had no effect on the mass protests.
