A deal brokered by the UN has allowed aid teams access to Homs for four consecutive days, with a fragile ceasefire in place to allow the humanitarian operation. Some 300 people were evacuated today from army-besieged districts of Syria's Homs. The latest evacuations bring the total number of civilians given safe passage out of the war-ravaged central part of the city up to some 1,000.
