PARAGUAY-SAN JUAN-TRADITION

Several dolls popularly know as Judas (in reference to Judas Iscariote) are seen in a store in Asunción on June 20, 2013. The dolls, who usually represent a well known politician or sport figure, are filled with fireworks to be burnt during San Juans festivities. This year, Pelusco, the doll representing Uruguayan coach of Paraguays football team Gerardo Pelusso, is one of the best sold.
