Caption: CHICAGO, IL - JANUARY 02: A rosary hangs from a candle at a memorial created in an alley near the spot where 20-year-old Octavius Dontrell Lamb was shot yesterday and killed, on January 2, 2013 in Chicago, Illinois. At 3:45 a.m., less than four hours into the new year, Lamb became the first murder victim of 2013 in Chicago, a city which saw more that 500 murders in 2012.
