NASHVILLE, TN - NOVEMBER 12: NATD President Stephen Tolman, Lynn Hendrich, Maria Morari and Steve Hendrich. NATD presented $20,000 to Maria Morari, a blind orphan from Moldova, who was brought to the United States by Steve and Lynn Hendrich for a life-changing procedure by Dr. Ming Wang. His goal was to bring back 30 percent of the vision in her right eye and the surgery was very successful. Members of NATD heard her story and were prompted to present the check to Maria with the hopes she may remain in the United States.
