A CANOE ON THE HOLLAND RIVER north of Newmarket is all retiree Al Froom of Thornhill needs to get away from it all. He tries for bass and pike, but usually gets smaller crappies. ON THE HUMBER RIVER NEAR OLD MILL SUBWAY STATION Johnkark Aiello, 11, tries his luck amid trees and nearby apartments. His Dad takes him after work so they can spend time together during the week. That's Johnkarl's TACKLE BOX with many lures, bobbers, etc. RED AND WHITE BOBBERS make nice detail shot attached to line and rods. AT BURD'S FISHING near Stouffville, Joshua Borenstein, 5 (LEFT) and younger brother Aubrey, 4, wait for trout to gobbletheir worms at the trout pond on Highway 48. YOUNG GIRL WITH TWO TROUT is Audrey Bahnam, 12, from Lebanon, who is visiting relatives in Toronto. She caught them at Burd's and said they're the biggest fish she'd ever caught.
