New Yorkers Pay Respects At Memorial For Slain NYPD Officers
NEW YORK, NY - DECEMBER 23: New York Police Department Bureau Chief Joanne Jaffe (C) pays her respects at a memorial where two New York Police Department police officers who were shot and killed last Saturday on December 23, 2014 in the Bedford Stuyvesant neighborhood of the Brooklyn borough of New York City. Officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu, were killed execution style on June 20, 2014 as they sat in their marked police car on a Brooklyn street corner. The suspect, identified as 28-year-old Ismaaiyl Brinsley was apparently motivated by the deaths of Eric Garner and Michael Brown.
