The Mexican Army incinerated more than 7,7 tons of drug, the majority of it being marijuana, seized to groups of drug traffickers from the north of the country, reported a military authority. A total of 7.771 kilos of marijuana were destroyed, 15 of heroin, 2,9 of methamphetamine, 2,6 of cocaine, 119 plants of marijuana and 173 tablets of psychotropic, according to the commander of the Fourth Military Region, Noe Sandoval Citadel. The drug was seized in various operations of the Army and the Mexican General Prosecutor's Office in the state of Nuevo Leon, which has a narrow frontier area with the United States.
