"Tiaoqian" Praying Ceremony Held To Scare Away Evil Spirits At Youning Temple
HUZHU COUNTY, CHINA - FEBRUARY 8: (CHINA OUT) Lamas blow long trumpet on their way to send evil spirits which have been 'killed', during the 'Tiaoqian' praying ceremony at the Youning Temple on February 8, 2009 in Huzhu County of Qinghai Province, China. The Youning Temple holds the annual 'Tiaoqian' ceremony in the first lunar month each year. During the ceremony, monks will wear colourful traditional clothes and masks, performing the 'Fawang Dance' and 'Horse-headed Warrior Dance' to scare away evil spirits.
