SUITLAND, MD - NOV 20: Kenny Westray, owner of We are One Gear in his store in Suitland, Maryland, November 20, 2013, says he will help support the Suitland High Rams on the eve of their Regional Championship football game. Merchants in the area are offering discount hair cuts, shirts and even cologne to support a team in a community where most news is not good. Last year a Suitland student and two former students were killed. But Suitland football coach Ed Shields is not at peace. He hoped that more companies would support his players who are working hard to set a good example (Photo by Evelyn Hockstein/For The Washington Post via Getty Images
