Gandhi's pair of iconic spectacles, a famous wooden ‘charkha’ which he personally used, a signed prayer book, several letters and other documents pertaining to Gandhi’s life, and 24 other personal memorabilia were auctioned in London on April 17, 2012 and purchased by Indian industrialist Kamal Morarka who handed over the memorabilia to Hazare and his team.
