(Inyokern)– In the street in front of his Ridgecrest home, drag racer and Dust Devils Auto Club member, Cecil Wiles (center) pushes his Super Comp. dragster with help of William Mangrum (crew member/driver) left and Garrett Wiles (Son, crew member/driver) to trailer. The racers are getting ready for race in Phoenix this Friday. Drag racing has been a part of life at the Inyokern Airport for over 50 years. The Dust Devils, a civic minded drag racing club in Inyokern, has been allowed to use a temp closed taxiway at the little used local airport for drag races 6 times/yr.
