Weapons Of Mass Destruction In Iraq

UNITED STATES - JUNE 21: House Select Intelligence Chairman Peter Hoekstra, R-Mich., and Sen. Rick Santorum, R-Pa., during a news conference releasing declassified information from a report by the National Ground Intelligence Center regarding the recovery of chemical munitions in Iraq. According to the report, which is over two months old, coalition forces have found about 500 weapons which contain degraded mustard or sarin nerve agent, most of which date to before the Gulf War. Hoekstra and Santorum said that despite the age of the weapons, they are still deadly, and terrorist and insurgent groups desire to acquire and use chemical weapons. The information was discovered after "unconventional sources" alerted Hoekstra and Santorum to the report. (Photo by Scott J. Ferrell/Congressional Quarterly/Getty Images)
