Baby and adolescent elephants are cared for and play at the animal orphanage in Nairobi

Helping save the lives of orphaned elephants and rhinos who are ultimately released back into the wild is just some of the many wildlife commitments the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust is involved in. The orphanage located in a secluded area of the Nairobi National Park where orphaned baby elephants amongst other animals are taken care of by a dedicated team of conservationists. At 11AM everyday the baby animals are brought from the National Park for a mud-bath at the orphanage, where for an hour (Photo by Wendy Stone/Corbis via Getty Images)
