Beginning August 1, 2011 dog owners who live in the condos must pay a $200 one-time fee for a DNA swab to be taken from their dog's mouth to be held on file. If a dog's feces are found, a sample is sent to the DNA Pet World Registry to determine the dog's DNA and they match that with the one on file to determine who the owner is and than a fine will be issued for not picking up after their pet.
