Investigators have been treating the blast site as a crime scene, although authorities say the blast was likely caused by a fire at the West Fertilizer Company, and access to the area has been restricted until today with residents allowed to return. Debby's home near the Intermediate school was among those destroyed but she was not home at the time, and though her husband was, he survived with injuries resulting in some forty stitches.
