Rasmussen is claiming 5.8 million euros (some 7.55 million US dollars) as damages from his former Rabobank team who dismissed him from the 2007 Tour de France,- when he was wearing the race leader's yellow jersey, after confusion over his whereabouts when it came to anti-doping tests.
