Compton, UNITED STATES: A sign warning drivers of the presence of cameras is displayed in Compton, CA 22 January 2007, where Los Angeles Sheriff Lee Baca announced the results of the crime task force that was implemented a year ago to combat and supress gang-related violence in Compton. The program included an increase of the budget for law enforcement as well as social programs that try to keep trouble youth out of the streets providing jobs and education.
