The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is being forced to save 600 million USD between March and September 2013, as part of the automatic budget cuts, or sequester, approved by the US Congress and President Barack Obama. The FAA is considering closing half of the control towers of US small to midsize airports, some 238 like Salisbury, by April 7.
